Product Description
This Whitney Design Ultra Plus Ironing Board Pad & Cover is designed to fit a standard full sized 14" x 54" ironing board. The pad and cover are one piece construction with a strong elastic bungee cord binding which makes installation easy. It has tailored side edging and a tailored nose for a snug fit. Hook and loop closure straps on the bottom add to an already snug fit. The ironing surface features an environmentally friendly NANOMAX stain and scorch resistant coating which has a pearlescent finish. It also features a built in silicone iron rest where a hot iron can be placed without worry to the cover. The pattern is Brushed Floral. Item# 06001.

 Poor Quality, Design and Fitting March 4, 2010

Don't buy this product from Shop at Claire's. The wrong size was packaged in an 18" cover. The thing fit miserably, was obvioulsy for an 15" board, they were out of stock and I had to wait for this item. Shop at Claire's does not respond to email and I have to pay 1/3 the cost of this item to ship back. Also their customer service are the not the friendliest people in the world.
Recommend against this item for its poor quality and caution with this retailer.

This ironing board cover has a section of bumpy silicone as an iron rest. This was not anticipated and I would prefer not to have it because it makes ironing table cloths difficult. Other than that, it is an average cover.

This product is very poorly made. The stitching was not done properly on the side making for an improper fit. I only kept this product because I did not have time to hassle with its return; this, after all is the issue with ordering on line from this site: if the product does not work, returning can be a hassle and costly.
