Good Quality Iron August 31, 2010 L. Castro (San Diego, CA) I did some research on irons looking for a better iron but not too pricy. Saw this one as one of the better irons out there. Very happy with it. Heats up fast, lots of steam, light-weight. No complaints!
Nice Iron August 30, 2010 inlovewithtroy Has room at the bottom of the iron to wrap the cord around it without worrying that you are wrapping it around the heating source. Weird spring device for the cord is suppose to offer extra cord length but I could not figure this out or see the benefit as it only gave me an extra 2 inches of cord. Lots of steam. Very large capacity for water. Instructions say absolutely no distilled water and to only use tap water. Light. Ironing time seems to have decreased because I only pass over areas once instead of twice like before with my old (highly rated) iron. The red color is a deep red. No on/off switch- you must unplug it. The cord moves easily as you are ironing so that it is never in your way and you never have to think about it. The iron is very tall because of the extra length added at the bottom for you to wrap the cord around.
Great iron August 27, 2010 Lynda Slipetz (South Elgin, IL) I'm very pleased with this iron. I had a Rowenta before which was supposed to be great but was a piece of junk. This iron is comparable in every way but the price makes it an outstanding value.
Very good iron! August 24, 2010 joannk (Wichita, KS) This is a very good iron that makes the clothes looking nicely pressed. The only down side is that it uses up a lot of water. Although the water doesn't leak all over the clothes, the bottom of the ironing board is soaked after ironing 5 shirts & 4 pairs of pants. I don't mind it too much since I only iron once a week so it gives the ironing board enough time to dry out.
I've only had this iron for a month. I've had a T-Fal iron prior to this & it lasted about 7 years before it started leaking all over the clothes. I hope this new one can last just as long.
T-Fal Iron August 16, 2010 kate It is easier to use than my previous iron and the performance is much better.
