awsome product August 19, 2010 mike smith bought this kept refillg it never got to hot the only thing that did get hot after a while was the push button when you were steaming but this thing is amazing cleaned my stove from top to bottom my bathroom my kitchen floor my microwave everything dont pass thing up it is wroth your money in every way awsome product
Complete waste of money. July 29, 2010 Doug (Castlegar, B.C. Canada) I strongly recommend that you do not buy this steamer. I tried cleaning some venetian blinds and it did nothing. If I put them in the shower they clean up much easier and faster. Tried getting soap scum out of grout and it didn't work there either. Save your money. This thing is useless.
SteamFast SF-226 Handheld Steam Cleaner review July 25, 2010 K. Burton (USA) This product is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. It does shoot steam but don't expect it to have the power of a Scunci Steamer. I have bought 3 Scunci Steamers and loved the results they gave but the trigger stopped working on all three. That's why I decided to pay less for a steamer this time. I am not as thrilled with the SteamFast as I was the Scunci. It doesn't have a hose and it doesn't shoot the steam like I would like it to. But on the positive side, it was half the price of the Scunci and the nozzle doesn't pop off shooting steam everywhere like the Scunci. I also like the measuring cup that came with the SteamFast better. All in all, it's a good product for what you pay for it.
Works for me. July 23, 2010 J. Tomlinson (Lubbock, TX USA) I find this product to do what I ask of it. It has a nice strong steam for what it is and lasts long enough on one fill to do a reasonable amount of work. No, it is not a huge powerful commercial steamer. But then again I didn't buy a huge powerful commercial steamer....duh.
Does work however.... May 14, 2010 me (florida) The process takes entirely too long. I purchased this to clean tile grout in my kitchen. I just moved and thought the grout was brown, since the tiles themselves were squeaky clean. I was wrong. It blew away the grease/etc that had accumulated on the grout but a 12X10 kitchen took about 8 hours. On one fill up I was able to only clean about 3 sq ft of tile then had to wait in between for the unit to cool enough to open to refill then reheat. It also sprays alot of water (which is probably why I had to refill so often)so I went through at least 12 terry rags mopping up behind it. It does the job but unless they increase the reservoir size I would never repurchase it. When this one dies I'll be spending a little more money to get a better unit.
