| Customer Reviews: Does the job right! December 25, 2009 Jay (NY, USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use this to iron clothes on my bed every once in a while and it's perfect. If anyone has ever burned a bedspread (my mother) you'll like having this. Very good for travel too!
size not as advertised December 7, 2009 Denise Farley 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I chose to buy this item because its stated size is larger than other items I can find and I wanted it to iron material/blocks for quilting. However it is more than 2 inches less than stated...on both length and width. So size wise it is not impressive at all. Furthermore the edging is sewn so tightly that the silver side puckers and ironing is very difficult as the material moves. For all intents and purposes, this item is pretty worthless to me.
Make your own oversized ironing board March 2, 2009 tedsblondie (modesto, california) 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
6 of these plus cotton quilt batting and waterproof outdoor fabric and you can make yourself an oversized ironing board to iron quilts on.
meets the initial expectation April 6, 2008 HannahC 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
This blanket is very light and does what it is supposed to do: creating a pseudo ironing board. But for some reason, I found the corner of the white surface turning yellow after the 1st time use. I haven't figured out why yet. But that doesn't seem to affect anything. After my second time use of this product, I wished it could have been bigger. Also, since it does not have an edge (like regular ironing boards do), it's hard to iron shirt cuffs, near the collar, etc. But asides that, I'm pretty satisfied with the product as it is light, foldable, and does not damage the table.
$6.99 for 2/3 the size of the next largest version that is three times the price March 20, 2007 Dwight (USA) 3 out of 24 found this review helpful
